Therapy isn’t a magic wand (although wouldn’t that be nice?!). However, it is a powerful tool that can absolutely lead to healing, relief, and real change.
The most important part of this is your investment in the process: therapy requires work outside of session. Your therapist will be as invested as you are in addressing the issues at hand, but you’re ultimately in control of whether you use the skills, try new things, and have courageous conversations outside of session. That is where the true transformation will happen!
