I’m here to walk together with you, helping you lift the heaviness and find lasting peace and connection within yourself.
Life often throws us sudden and overwhelming challenges that are hard to navigate alone. You might be dealing with a recent change in an important relationship, a traumatic event, or just a lingering, unsettled feeling about something that happened in your childhood. Whatever’s been stirred up feels uneasy, even distressing, and it’s pushing you to confront the emotions or memories you’ve been avoiding.
Feeling disconnected from yourself, becoming emotional for reasons you don’t fully understand, and worrying about the future have been consuming. This can be especially exhausting if you’re in a pivotal stage of life—like a new parent in the throes of postpartum, a teen navigating the pressures of adolescence, or a woman “doing it all” to keep up with the needs of children, family, work, and social expectations. For first responder families, managing the intensity of the job and balancing the adaptation to partners and fathers being there to share responsibilities and connection one day, and gone for the next few, may seem endless and lead to unique overwhelm. Balancing your emotions is hard, especially with all the expectations already on your plate.
The day-to-day stress has brought past wounds or complicated feelings to the surface. You might be feeling like you’re stuck without a path forward and wondering how to find your footing again.
No matter what stage you’re at, I’m here to help you make sense of these feelings, experiences, and emotions. We’ll work together to uncover what’s driving your pain—you don’t have to face this alone. There really can be hope amidst the heaviness, and I’m here to help you re-discover it, connect with yourself, and embrace a sense of stability and peace.

I was first introduced to therapy at six years old and it became a safe place in my life. What started as a normal wellness routine for me soon proved to be my calling. I knew from a young age that I wanted to help others the way therapy had helped me. Since 2009, I’ve been deeply involved in mental health research, bringing an evidence-based approach to my work as a therapist.
I know what it’s like to face trauma and work through it. My own experiences allow me to truly 'go there' with my clients, feeling what they’re feeling, and walking alongside them through the hardest moments. My approach is rooted in proven methods, offering you both insight and practical tools for lasting change. I prioritize building a strong, trusting relationship with you before diving into deeper work. Together, we’ll explore and travel back in time to gain context and understanding. I often assign homework for you to do between our sessions, because I’m a big believer that actively engaging in the healing process helps you get the most out of it.
I received my MS in Counseling (MFT) from California State University, Sacramento. Prior to that, I completed an MA in Psychology at San Diego State University and a BA in Psychology from Pepperdine University.
